This is my country dog! Living on 4 acres he gets a workout each and everyday! He’s also a member of our family, albeit a bit furrier than the rest of us! But we love him just the same!
We know that to keep him happy and healthy he needs good dog food.

I was so happy to see a new to me food and treats called “I and love and you” at my local Ralph’s store. I’ve heard that you can also find it at other select stores, but Ralph’s is super convenient to me because I can shop for us and my sweet pets all under one roof! It’s nice to be able to purchase high quality pet food and treats at the grocery store!

He’s not food motivated at all. He’s the type that only eats if he’s really hungry. {I wish I was like that}. So I wasn’t sure how he would react to the new food. We followed best practices of slowly introducing the new food and mixed it with his old food and then we sat and watched. He was a little concerned that I was there photographing him as he ate! But he finished off the whole bowl faster than I have ever seen him eat anything before! He loved it!

Earlier in the day, he got his annual buzz cut.
It gets warm here in So Cal and being an Australian Shepherd he gets some super thick fur so we get him shaved every June… he actually doesn’t mind when then groomer comes and gets him all cleaned up… but I always make sure to have a good treat for him. This is the look he gives me when I make him be my model. He much prefers when it’s the kid’s job! He was totally thinking, “please leave me alone to enjoy my chew”.
