Pete and I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful resort a couple of weeks ago and I am so excited to share all about this awesome vacation spot. Pete was happy to see the full gym.
Our room was awesome! The bed was super comfy and it had a casual but contemporary feel. I love how family friendly the rooms are too. Lot’s of space and places for everyone to hang out!
We had a private balcony with this view. I could have stayed out there all day watching the ocean.
Because the Inn is more like a boutique hotel they can arrange a multitude of local activities too.
We were given a few fun things to choose from and we chose to do some paddle boarding! We met with our instructor Rita from West Coast Stand Up Paddle about 10 minutes from the hotel on the lagoon so that the water was calm. We had so much fun and with the instructor’s help, Pete was able to get right up on the board. I can not say enough good things about Rita and the whole experience. She works with those that are vacationing at The Carlsbad Inn and locals too! We can’t wait to bring the girls back for a lesson too! Rita says that some of her favorite lessons are those that she teaches the whole family and I can’t wait to meet with her again!

What cushy accommodations! I love that you can go out and play and then come back to a nice retreat style hotel to rest!
All I can say is “wow.” This looks amazing and relaxing. Plus, I’ve always wanted to try the stand up paddle boarding.

First off I love Carlsbad, I would live there if I could! I am going paddle boarding today for the first time and am really excited! The hotel is beautiful, I have seen it while visiting Carlsbad.
