This is what I bought…

This is what I got with the reward for what I bought!

I could totally leave this post as a simple tribute to my purchase of batteries, but come on that would be boring right? So, I will add this equally boring {according to my husband}, yet somehow inspiring song for you to enjoy today. I just love this song. I know I’m strange, but I do…

Now back to my purchase of batteries. I really don’t need more batteries right now. There I said it. But, and there is a big but {not to be confused with a big butt}, I have to buy supplies for the office anyways so I buy whatever is free after reward and then I use the rewards to buy what I need. You just have to remember to never pay with something that will earn a reward, with a reward.
Here are the details:
2 batteries @ $10= $20
Get back $20 in rewards the next month.
Score!

hi, I got a question. Do you know if you can pay with staples rewards and still get rewards?

    Thanks!

  2. ^^You generally can NOT roll rewards: i.e. you can not pay with rewards on an item that is free after rewards.

I am not good at spending money! I have 149.40 in rewards burning a hole in my pocket. I've already racked up 138.78 for October – not all are posted though. EEK! Dave will be happy to know we'll be laptop shopping around Black Friday. I don't usually do the whole Black Friday shopping experience, so we'll see what happens this year. He's been in the market for a new laptop for a few years now. I'm surprised his is still kicking.

I just want a 10.1 netbook – but Staples doesn't carry anything like this. Ah well, maybe OD early next year. ;)

We NEEDED batteries. We still had a ton of AA from last year – and OD recently. We didn't have any AAA to supply batteries for our stockpile of free Harbor Freight LED flashlights. I do now!
