One of the best ways I’ve learned to save money is to look at our necessary spending. I know this is contrary to the school of thought that you should just focus on just the extras. Cut out coffee from the coffeehouse, eat at home, take a stay at home vacation… those are all good ideas too… but looking at your necessary spending can also be a great place to cut your expenses.

When I married I not only got a great husband, but also a got to learn about how expensive eye care can be. Add a few years and 3 kids and the expenses keep rolling!

{Right before we made the jump to contacts}

My husband has worn contacts since we met and my oldest just started.  That’s when I realized I needed to get serious and find a good place to start buying them from… enter 1-800 Contacts.

1-800 Contacts has some great ways that help you shop easily and save money:

  •  comparison shop easily online
  • price match guarantee (20/20 Guarantee)
  •  free shipping on orders over $50
  • 1-800 Contacts Coupon/Promo Code page {A PAGE DEVOTED TO COUPONS!!!}
  • A great new iPhone app that allows customers to track when prescriptions need to be reordered and then order from their phone too. Check out this app to see all the cool features including scanning your bar code which automatically uploads your prescription!

If you are looking to save money be sure to check out your necessary spending and 1-800 contacts!
