Does this ever happen to you?
One minute you are on the phone, the next your child is “borrowing” your phone. For me it’s normally when we are out and about and multiple times we’ve almost left the phone behind. You know what would happen next. We accidentally leave the phone and then the phone could be stolen and gone forever.
It’s also really helpful for my two older girls and their cell phones.
They take their phones everywhere {which is what I want} but I’m always worried about them getting lost or stolen and I feel so much better knowing that they are protected by ESET. ESET’s anti-theft features increase your chance of recovering your phone or tablet and keeping your data protected and private whether it is lost (by you or your child) or stolen. This is one of my biggest concerns and makes me feel so much better.
It is important to me that their devices are protected, but even more so for my own phone and tablet.
My life is on my phone. I have pictures, emails and my calendar all stored on my phone and I’d be lost without it. I also wouldn’t want it in some strangers hands. The thought of someone seeing my kids photos or private text conversations is really upsetting. Thankfully I have ESET on my phone and it’s a great way to protect my data and hopefully be able to locate it and get it back quickly.
With the Anti-Theft Protection you can:
- Track your phone with a GPS feature if it is lost or stolen. I see so many people leave their phones by accident on the counter when they are paying at the store so this would be a really good thing to be able to do!
- Remotely wipe your data from your phone or tablet if it is lost or stolen. I’d be doing that so quick!
- Send a one-way message to the device if lost or stolen.
- Activate a siren if lost or stolen. Let’s talk about this one really quickly. Have you ever lost your phone at home or in your car? This would totally save the day. Or if you see that your phone was just taken… this might get them to drop it!
- Remotely activate the devise camera to see who is using it. I would totally do that.
This is such a great idea! Our phones have so much personal data on them that it would be awful to lose them.
I love the feature where you can track your phone if it’s lost or stolen. I think that’s a great feature.
I think everyone nowadays will find this program useful. Thanks for sharing! Nice giveaway too.
As I have so much information on my phone and a bunch of important things, I would definitely consider to buy an Anti-Theft Protection app/program for it. I most certainly would not want my precios info on the wrong hands of somebody.
That’s so helpful. I didn’t know about this. I’m always looking for a great way to protect my mobile device. My kids like to grab and use my phone to watch YouTube, to take selfies, and to browse my pictures. I have to continually make sure they aren’t somewhere they shouldn’t be.
This is such a useful program. Thanks for sharing this information. Lots of us will find it helpful.
What a great program! My phone is my EVERYTHING!!! Need to protect the info in there!
I really need to get protection. We spend so much time protecting other devices, but never my phone.
this is a mus try! my daughter got her own tablet and she never touches my phone because she dont know the password haha she borrows my ipad once in a while but there nothing stored in it
I had the same phone stolen twice. And the second time, it was GONE. I wish I had this app. Honestly, I would be way happier.
This looks like a great app. Thanks for sharing about it!
Great app/program. My daughter once has lost her mobile phone and this one is a real help protecting mobile owners.
That’s just smart. What a great idea. Both of our kids think our phones are for their amusement. I could see this coming in handy.
Seems interesting. I know with all the new apps out there I’m sure something like this would be helpful. I saw an app today they showed on the Today show that can replicate a key just by taking a picture of it. That’s pretty scary.
I have a lot of personal stuff on my phone, so safeguarding is one of my top priorities. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I work in the technology sector and I agree that protecting our mobile devices should be a priority.
