I really wish my store had the bogo Scunci packs! Especially since a coworker declared last week that they were OUT of Scuncis. Not sure how this is possible since they're not disposable, but oh well. They tore the house apart this weekend and found TWO. So she was quite happy with my little gift this morning. I would have been thrilled to have the unlimited deal you socal folks got, but that's how it goes. She's supposed to hit the store tomorrow and try and get two packs for herself.
I bought the Nasadock too, I have the Neti Pot which I love although I have been told it looks like I am drowning when I use it. LOL.

@ Lianne- I know I was happy to find the bogo's they were on an endcap! I swear they do disapear. I have 3 DD's and I wear them too and I can't buy them fast enough. Dusti you'll like this one too… one of my cats hunts for hair bows. I found a HUGE pile under my bed.
Dusti, how'd you know I have cats? Do I just seem like a cat lady? I *totally* am. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The dogs are ok, but the cats are the best!

Do your cats like the Goodlife wet food that we were getting for free at Target? My cats have their "babies" those little mice and they are under EVERYTHING. My gray cat, Samantha can open doors and she is constantly opening up doors. When I go to wrap a present, OMG, they get obsessed with the ribbons, bows, and they try and lay on the wrapping paper.

Aww, thanks for asking. I think we are doing ok. Still tough though. I don't think anyone can really understand what I went through those two months!! That's affecting me quite a bit. Having to put her down the night before my birthday REALLY sucked.
But, it was what we had to do. Losing two turtles (that I had for 15+ years) while all this was going on really didn't help… I still want to put up a blog post about Millie, but I haven't been able to do it yet. I also need to try and contact her previous owner (I have an email address). Millie was only with us for 5 years, but what an impact she had!! Would I do it all again? You bet. The whole experience taught me a lot. I'm just barely starting to come out of the fog a little I think. Keeping life to a bare minimum still.
For the record: I HATE having dogs. Hate, hate, hate the demands they put on my life. Hubby is starting to feel the same way. They were just too much to handle during that whole ordeal.
So we're down to 1 cat, 2 dogs, 1 turtle, 3 anoles, 1 betta, 2 fish tanks – plus the 2 empty turtle tanks. Too many changes all at once.
Let's not get on the subject of my Moosey with ribbons and wrapping paper. *sigh* I apologize to anyone who gets a wrapped tiger cat as a gift, cuz it's bound to happen at some point!!
Lianne- I'm really, really, really, really, sorry to hear about your loss. I can't even imagine losing my two cats, I have never had to experience the loss of an animal. When I start thinking about it I start crying, and my cats are only 8 years old! I have never owned dogs and these were my first pets. I treat my cats like dogs, I have them both nicknamed "stalkers" because they follow me around like a dog but I love it! Big, Big, big hugs to you

I have my "craft" supplies in a walk-in closet underneath the stairs and I kid you not I have shut the door to wrap in peace. LOL. My cats start scratching at the papers and oh its just a nightmare.
Thanks Dusti! We never had to experience this before (in our adult lives) and we'd been dreading it. Millie was almost 16 and really was my husband's first cat – even though we've had Moosey for 11 1/2 years. We got Millie on Freecycle when she was 11. We went over to meet her and my hubby sat down in the middle of the kitchen. She walked right over to him, took one look, said "you'll do.", and curled up in his lap. I've never seen anything like it!!
Lymphoma took over, and spread so fast we barely had time to register what had happened. The vet hadn't seen a case like hers before. Like I said, I want to post a blog about the experience. Maybe this weekend. I touched on things here and there in my posts, but never really explained what happened at the end. I came here to tell Heather since she had been so concerned.

We don't share the same grocery stores, but we have the drug stores, Staples, pet stores, Target – and Walmart if I ever get there. Besides, I'm a fun kind of crazy – worth a read on the days I open up a little more.
Lianne-I am hoping my cats are freaks and will live for another 20 plus years. Unrealistic I know. I checked on your blog, I love the cat pics!!! My cats are soooooo nosy, Heather are your cats the same way? My cats are shedding machines right now, I have hair balls blowing all over my wood floors like tumbleweeds.
Heather – Do your cats do anything crazy? Opening doors, "racing" the hallways @ 3am? Do share some stories and pics.
Unrealistic, but understandable!! The time went by too fast, that's for sure. We wanted so much more time with Millie. We are definitely getting another black cat, but that's all that's been determined. Older cat, not a kitten. Millie was 11 when we got her and my hubby wants a cat a little younger than that. I would take an older cat. Yes, even knowing time could be even shorter. I don't like knowing there are older cats in the shelters that will likely never get adopted out!!!! He wants a slightly younger cat because he feels he didn't get enough time with her. No, he sure didn't. He just doesn't understand that I will never feel I got enough time with Moosey either – no matter how long she's with us. That's just how it goes.
I have a lot of fun pictures of both of them! I should put together a photo entry. Yeah I know, add it to the list of things I'd like to do. I have the whole weekend to myself. You'd think I could get something done??

I am so excited for the cat post. LOL. Tell your daughter I promise NOT to take them, just love them from afar. Awwww, that is so sweet she loves her cats so much.
Ok… I got my blog entry posted and I emailed Millie's previous owner. That REALLY sucked… but I couldn't in good conscience not make an attempt to reach out to her. I don't know the circumstances that made her give Millie up, but she did care for her for the first 11 years. I'm kinda dreading a response to the email, but I HAD to tell her. I don't have any guilt so far in all this, no reason to add any now.
