My husband has been maxing out his workouts lately. That means lot’s of recovery food and for the first time, he asked me to buy chocolate milk. I’m pretty picky about the milk we drink and I want hormone free milk in my home. I wasn’t sure of I’d be able to find a pre-made chocolate milk that met my needs so I went shopping!

Have you all heard of TruMoo? Every glass of TruMoo starts with fresh, pure milk from your trusted dairy, which means it contains 8 essential nutrients. Each flavored milk contains just enough sugar and no high fructose corn syrup. Which makes me happy!

My little ones love chocolate milk and I feel like I’ve finally found a way to give them what they want and what they need. This milk shake pumps up the healthy benefits even more and is a good option for kids and adults and also makes a great recovery drink after a long workout.

I added some homemade whipped cream to the top to make it more “milk shake” like for the kids but you totally don’t have to do that… it tastes fantastic without too! This is going to be our go-to drink this summer. Packed with healthy nutrients and COLD!
