Now that summer is coming I’m getting the itch to eat better. I want my food to taste as fresh as possible and I’m loving light pasta dishes like this one I just made. If you are like me and super busy, but still want that fresh taste, but you don’t want to worry about your food spoiling before you eat it, you need to learn more about the benefits of frozen foods.

I recently went to the store and bought some of my favorite frozen foods. I like to use frozen foods to make my usual dishes even better!

For dinner tonight I took my normal pasta that is super easy (just a drizzle of olive oil and seasoning salt) and I added frozen broccoli and carrots! I love using frozen foods because frozen is how foods stay fresh. Freezing naturally pauses inspired recipes made with fresh, quality ingredients and suspends them there until the moment you are ready to enjoy them. Thus, locking in freshness, flavor, and nutrients. And the taste too! The taste of fresh frozen foods is amazing! Here is more info on fresh vs frozen.

I love how frozen foods (like my pasta dish), are a simple and natural pause button that keeps just picked, baked and crafted foods at the peak of freshness!

One of the biggest benefits for me is that frozen foods are ready when we are. They allow me and my busy family to enjoy a wholesome, tasty meal around the dining table quickly, which gives us more time to have fun and enjoy the warm summer evenings!

We also have frozen pizzas night on weeknights once a week. It’s a great way for us to eat some great food on busy school nights. And I love that the freshness has been “frozen” in!
