My daughter is MAD at me…

She came in to my office and started picketing.  Her sign says “STOP COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT” {the URL to a post I wrote about making their favorite pizza’s} and then “OUR MATERIAL, NO RECOGNITION”.

She claims that she and her sister actually took the pictures I used. I don’t remember them taking the pictures. But, I don’t want to get sued by my own daughter {LOL, she *might* have actually threatened that} so I am issuing this statement.

My 2 older daughters might have taken the pictures used in the pizza post. I apologize if this was upsetting to them.

Now I ask you all… should I be proud or worried?

    • She is… she’s been a “mini adult” since birth. I swear she came our with a look on her face that said “Someone grab me a computer… I need to google what is going on here” :-)

  8. Mary Beth Elderton says:

    Very proud!

  9. That SO sounds like something my 8 yr old would do! I always tell her she is going to be President some day… and a world changer! Love it! :)

  10. A little of both LOL Proud because you know they are paying attention and learning from things your teaching them.
WORRIED because it’s starting to “Backfire” and they may just take you to “Family court” if they do Hope hubby isn’t in the dog house that day he’d side with the girls ;) LOL

but seriously I”d be super proud of them :)

Be Proud!! You are raising a strong girl who has no problem communicating with you, even if it may be upsetting :)

  12. Proud! I think you have a future lawyer on your hands!

  13. I say PROUD! Maybe offer them some (age appropriate) compensation and add a little blurb to your/their pizza pic. LOL The fact that they KNOW those things even exist is awesome!

    • Oh my… if I did age appropriate compensation they might claim age discrimination on me! I figure I provide them with a pretty lush life… so an error here or there can be forgiven. LOL! Can’t wait to see what they say to this when they see it after school. If you don’t hear from me again… it was my kids! :-)

  14. Bribes…yep that’s the way to go.
Lol, I would be so proud of her.

  15. You will have your hands full when she gets older LOL!

  16. Lilsassiwoman says:

    Proudly scared!!! Lol

  17. Michelle Tucker says:

Love it! Smart girl you have there. And for goodness sakes, make sure you give her credit from now on. You’ve been warned. Haha!

  18. I would be both super proud and a little concerned. I do believe that she may take after you a wee bit, as well.

  19. Susan Olson says:

If this is what she’s like now, I wonder what she’ll be like in twenty years. As I watched my five grow up I had a lot of pride and hurt. I just had a very hurtful remark from my daughter which made me do some thinking. Children bring the greatest joy and the greatest hurt. Love them all anyway.

  20. I would definitely be proud AND a little worried. But more proud, mostly. LOL

  21. Hahahaha! That is great! Your kids are smart! My daughter has a picture that she would DIE if I post – It has this crazy stick cat and under it is the caption “Beat Up Cat.” What the heck? She was like 6 or so when she drew it. Poor cat has a black eye!

You’re kids are definitely getting ready adulthood at such a young age. You should be very proud of them.
