I received this product as part of a promotional program with LeapFrog and BSM Media.
We’ve been back from our trip to Turks and Caicos for a little over a week now.
I want to tell you that we are all back to normal and that we are all unpacked {working on it, I promise!} but the reality is that we came back to school work for the girls and deadlines for Pete and I. One of the saving graces that has allowed us some extra quite moments to get through the backlog The Little One’s new LeapPad 3. Little sister is in love with it.
I tried to take pictures of all the times she’s been using her new LeapPad 3.
I quickly realized that my whole cell phone would be filled with pictures of her using her LeapPad 3 though so I just snapped some highlight pictures. Pretty much the whole trip was either in the water or on her LeapPad 3.
I totally understand why. the LeapPad is pretty awesome.
The older girls had LeapPad’s back in the day. I thought the older ones were pretty cool, but this new one is out of the world cool. It can take pictures, play games, help them learn to read and communicate with other LeapPad’s that are close by! We even saw some kids all “texting” each other at the airport via their LeapPads!
Oh and it can also take Selfies.
We now have about 8 million selfies stored on ours!
Here is a video of the Little One talking about her new LeapPad3. Truth is she was much more interested in playing with it than talking about it!
The new LeapPad3 would make an awesome gift this holiday season!
Who do you think this would be a great gift for on your gift list?
My kiddos would LOVE this! We are going on a 5 hour plane ride in January and I might need one for my 2 year old.
My son has one and he loves it! Although he kinda took over my Kindle with the Amazon kids area and seems to like the Kindle more.
We’re road tripping in 2 weeks! I will have to get this- traffic in New York always gives us a headache in more than one way 😉
We always have a tablet handy for the kids also. Mostly to watch movies or to read on while travelling.
This looks like a great techi pad that every little one needs!
I wish they’d had devices like those when my kids were small. Anything ot keep them quiet on long car rides, right?
Great educational tool for the kids. Like that it keeps them occupied and teaches them something too.
I never thought about getting a leap pad because we have an iPad but looks great!
We have an older version of this and my little guy always loved it when he was younger. It’s fun AND educational.
I bet my kids would love this, they have the older LeapFrog tablets which are well loved.
i totally agree – we use our ipad for videos on our long road trips to pittsburgh from NYC. I think this would be great too!
Great pictures – it’s great when you find a toy that you child really has fun with. My son is now 14 and he had a Leap Pad and spent hours learning from it. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.
I think my little niece would get such a kick out of this! I love that your daughter can hardly look away from it!
I love educational games! We have an old leap pad, I need to look into this newest version
My kids love theirs too, and also take lots of selfies! It’s definitely a nice device to bring on trips, and has nice educational games to keep them entertained for hours too.
We have two LeapPads in our house and couldn’t love them more! Looks like we’re going to have to look into the 3!
Wow…those LeapPads have come a long way, haven’t they? Cool that you can take a selfie using it.
Your daughter looks like she is having so much fun with her LeapPad, I wish they had those when my kids were younger.
My daughter has the LeapPad Ultra and loves it. This LeapPad 3 looks really nice, too!
That looks like a lot of fun! Our boys would be thrilled with that!
We have never had a leap pad, I feel like I should look into it.
Awww! She is such a cutie 🙂 I love gadget like that where our kids can have fun and learn at the same time.
We love the Leapad 3! So wonderful to have the kids play and learn!
I have been looking at this one. It seems pretty neat.
Definitely looks like a lot of fun!
I have a little one that would LOVE this! I must add this to the Christmas list ..
Leap pad is a great alternative to using an ipad.. i think it makes the child experience much better then them trying to figure it out.
This is great! I might consider getting my kids one for Christmas. Right now I credit the iPod touch for teaching my two year old the ABC’s. Technology doesn’t have to be such a bad thing right?
We have the older LeapPad Ultra and our daughter loves it! I cant wait to see the games they come out with for the new one!
She not only looks content with her Leappad3… but Happy, too!
My nephew needs one. Sounds like it might do a world of good for his development.
How fun! My kids would go nuts for one. 🙂
I didn’t realize that there was a new Leap Pad out. I have to check it out.
I think my son would have really loved this when he was a little younger. He is now all about video games on the Xbox and his tablet.
I love these things! I bought my middle child one a long time ago and he loved it! They are so much better now!
The LeapPad 3 looks great! My daughter has the LeapPad Ultra and loves it.
Wow! That really sounds super amazing. We never bought a LeapPad and it is nice to know what else it can do and how much entertaining it is for kids. This would be great to have when traveling or when on the road a lot with kids like us. Great gift idea for the holidays!
That sounds pretty cool. My son has a laptop but he doesn’t really get much out of it yet. He’s 3 and he still just kind of presses random buttons, and doesn’t let it finish speaking before he pushes another. Also, most of the games on it are more advanced than he is ready for at the moment. However, he’s in preschool so his skills on it may soon improve by leaps and bounds. He’s already learned a ton in the few months he’s been in school. I haven’t seen a LeapPad3 though so I might have to give it a look.
Your daughter seems to be enjoying that a lot. Her smile is priceless.
