Seeing a show with your family in Las Vegas is a great thing to do. Today I’m sharing one of our favorite shows for teens and preteens. I was provided comped tickets to facilitate this review.

On our last trip to Las Vegas with our whole family we took the older two to see Jabbawockeez.

This show is located in the Luxor and the theater is really easy to get to. we were excited to see this show so we got there a bit early but that totally wasn’t necessary. The seating was very smooth and we were ready for some fun fairly quickly. I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this show since they wear masks the whole time. How would they show emotion? Would it be boring for the girls and I? My concerns were completely unnecessary. We had a great time at the show!

You might remember Jabbawockeez from America’s Got Talent a number of years back.

They wowed America back then and they continue to do so in Vegas! Jabbawockeez is a high energy dance show from beginning to the end.  The show has a very well developed story line, but you’ll find yourself dancing in your seat and being in awe of all the incredible dancing rather than paying attention to the plot because the choreography is THAT good!
The theater for Jabbawockeez isn’t huge like some of the others which offers more of an intimate show with all seats being awesome for viewing the performers. The dancing is geared to a “hipper” crowd with break dancing and loud music {even some 80’s music!}. If you are sensitive to sound I would bring a pair of small ear plugs so you can enjoy the show without your ears throbbing.

My older two really enjoyed the show at 12 an 14 and the humor was appropriate for them.

I wouldn’t recommend bringing children less than 10 and even then only if they are mature. There is some audience participation. Not as much as some of the other shows and maybe a little more on the “mature” side, but it was all in good fun. The lighting during the show is really cool.
For families with older children this is a great show to see in Las Vagas.
