See this happy girl above? She got that special surprise all because I was checking in on Twitter two days ago. Let me start at the beginning because what happened was pretty cool!

Amazon has a new service called #AmazonCart that integrates Twitter and Amazon. Pretty much you can add items that you see on Twitter directly to your Amazon Cart. Then you just log into your Amazon account and complete the checkout. Really easy and very convenient.   This is a great video that explains how to use #AmazonCart. I watched it and then I went straight to Amazon and connected my Twitter account to my Amazon account and then I was ready to shop. It took less than a minute to connect the two accounts if that.

After that I went back to Twitter and did what I normally do, I read tweets that were being sent out… and then I saw this tweet from Amazon {they have multiple handles so be sure to check them all} about Scooby-Doo being on sale for 69% off I knew I wanted to get it for the girls! That is one of their favorite shows and I know they would enjoy watching it! I also wanted to try out #AmazonCart thanks to #cbias. The coolest part is that it works for any tweet with an amazon link. So I can tweet something out and people can buy this way as long as it has a link to the product on Amazon! This way you can share things with your friends and readers too!

To add it to my Amazon Cart I just had to reply back to the tweet about the product with the hashtag #AmazonCart. That’s it! Very simple to do!

Within seconds Amazon tweeted me that the item had been added to my cart and was ready for review and purchase!

Later that day when I was back to my computer I logged into Amazon and went straight to my cart. Scooby-Doo was waiting for me!

One step and less than a minute later I had finished the order process…

And since we use Amazon Prime, two days later this was delivered straight to our door and I had one very happy little girl!

And this is her saying… YES!

How would you use #AmazonCart?
