I am so glad it is Summer TIME!!!
I am ready for long days of sunshine, trips to the beach and time spent poolside. You know what that means??? Time to prep for Summer and Summer Legs!
I am already taking steps to getting my legs ready for our vacation up the coast at the beach.
It was a long winter and my legs are showing signs of the neglect from long pants and hiding from the cold. Now that we are experiencing the beginnings of a very warm summer, I want to wear skirts and shorts and feel confident about my legs. When I am confident about my legs, I am confident about what I am wearing!
This past week I decided to head to Walmart to pick out some pool toys for the girls when I saw these awesome summer legs must haves and I bought a few! With these and a little TLC, my legs are going to be ready for a fabulous Summer in no time at all!
Let’s talk about shaving… I don’t want to just shave my legs anymore.
If I am going to take the time to run a razor up and down my legs, it has to do more then just shave! The Schick® Ituition® Pure Nourishment® razor with coconut milk and almond oil moisturizes and softens skin. This little baby lathers, shaves, AND moisturizes while shaving! One easy step. The four blade pivoting head allows the razor to glide smoothly over every inch of my legs. I love how this razor leaves my skin smooth and simplifies my shaving process!
I love products that have fruity scents!
I grabbed a bottle of Skintimate® Signature Scents Moisturizing Shave Gel to help with Project “Get-My-Legs-Ready-For-Summer!” The rich lather and yummy fragrance just makes shaving so much more enjoyable! I love that it helps to protecting me from nicks and cuts, and of course, leaves my skin smooth and moisturized.
The third product I grabbed was Hawaiian Tropic® Sheer Touch lotion sunscreen.
I MUST protect myself from those awful sunburns. I’m a total Irish girl and I have the fair skin to prove it!

What do you to get your legs ready for Summer?
My husband and I both use Skintimate to shave with, leaves my legs silky soft.
I bake in the sun all summer long, so a good moisturizer is all I need.
I am definitely going to try Skintimate. I agree I don’t like those little bite marks from most razors and sunscreen we can never be too careful. I have become accustomed to using it year round so its not a chore at all to do what comes naturally 🙂
Today was the first really warm day we’ve had so far. My legs definitely need some extra moisturizing.
Sun screen is a must for me too. I will have to check out Skinmate and see if it helps my legs.
I love those Intuition razors. They always make my legs feel so smooth.
Everyone i know loves the Hawaiian Tropic products! I haven’t tried them yet. I think i need to give them a ago!
I have been looking for a new razor. None of them seem to be even half as sharp as they used to be- they just don’t get the job done like they used to….I will definitely check this one out next! Thanks for the tip.

Whoever created those razors with the shaving cream built in is a genius! I use those and they’re most definitely a fantastic invention, not to mention they’re quick to use! Speaking of ready legs, I need to look into some tanning lotions.
Don’t remind me. We have been to the pool twice and both times Hubby commented that I needed to do some ‘upkeep’ on my legs… HA! May have to make a trip since I have been neglecting my poor legs and need some supplies

I love the new Skintimate scent, it really gets me going in the morning. Love that citrus smell!
I definitely need to get to the store for a new razor and shaving cream – I’m using one of those cheapy disposable razors right now (from the winter…. you know, when we don’t shave… as often…).
Shaving cream really helps keep my legs moisturized much better rather than when I use soap. Plus a great lotion and I should be set for summer legs.
Too bad there really isn’t a beach or ocean nearby here in Illinois otherwise I’d be stocking up on these great leg enhancing products like they’re going out of style 😉
