Sometimes I come across something and I instantly know I have to share it with you all.

Now that summer is gone and the days are cooler it’s time to prepare for dry weather.
Normally this means having to drag out all of our humidifiers. We have five of them. Yes five! Staying on top of filling and cleaning them is a full time job. Having 2 children with allergies and asthma it’s a something that has to be done no matter how much time it takes.
Then I learned about the Holmes® Smart Humidifier enabled with WeMo™.
And my life suddenly became a whole lot easier. From having to fill up five humidifiers to just one whole-house humidifier every couple days was a huge sigh of relieve.
Let me tell you more about this whole house humidifier.
The Holmes® Smart Humidifier enabled with WeMo™ is a whole whole house humidifier. Gone are the days of having to have multiple units throughout the house. But it’s even more than that. It is controlled via a WeMo smartphone app (pictured above) which means that you can control it remotely! I’m already planning to use that feature once we start using the heater again. I love knowing that I’ll be able to use the app when we are away from home to turn up the humidity level, and then by the time we get home it was considerably less dry in our house.
Having that kind of technology at my fingertips is what makes this such a standout product!
The Holmes® Smart Humidifier enabled with WeMo™ also features a huge 4-gallon tank capacity which means having to spend less time filling it up! It also has a 60-hour run time, the ability to adjust and monitor humidity levels and one of my favorite features is that there are alerts when the water level is too low! It will also give you filter reminders when it’s time to change the filters and it has customizable schedule abilities (which I’m using to make our home less dry at night).

I used to have one in each of the kids’ rooms. I also had one on the furnace in one of my houses. Now that was really nice!
I like that it’s powerful enough to replace the others. We run one in the winter too.
I could really use this humidifier. Every morning there’s condensation on the windows and it never seems to shift unless the heating is on constantly.

I have never heard of Wemo but think it is an awesome bonus indeed. In the winter here I always have a humitifier going because of the forced air dry heat. I will have to look into this one. Thanks for sharing.
Not for us because we have the opposite problem, our house is too humid! Sounds like a great device for those that need it though!
I run small humidifiers in my kids rooms to help keep the air from getting too dry for them, so I know how much of a pain those things are to stay on top of. A humidifier that covers the whole house & holds 4 gallons just blows my mind. And that’s not even taking into consideration that it has an app!
Oh yes! This is a must! Our winter’s arent that bad over here in So Cal but the sickness still lurks!

My sister also has a Holmes humidifier and she swears by it. The smartphone app is an amazing feature and can really make things easier.
We have been talking about getting a humidifier and I use to have one when the kids were growing up as it did help the air and our bad sinuses. I really love that alert system too and think it would be useful for it to remind me when the water was getting low. I’ll have to check this brand out when we go shopping for one.
