Turning 10 is a big deal around here. Double Digits! It’s the time when each of my kids have really wanted to add more of their own personality to their personal space. My lovely middle one loves pink and zebra print so we ran with it.
Here are some easy ideas to transform a kids room into a tween getaway:
- Make a pile of magazines and catalogs. Have some fun and clip out ideas that you and your daughter like. Think of looks and function.
- Put together an idea board with all these ideas.
- Visit some home store show rooms. See how fabrics feel and how pieces fit together.
- Consider the goal for the room. Is it just for sleeping or do you want a place to get school work done too.
- Use online shopping to your advantage. Look for coupon codes.
