It was a cold one!

For someone that didn't fight any crowds today at Black Friday, I sure am tired. When I started out shopping today I really didn't think I would get much seeing as though everyone else started hours or even a day before me. I think I still really made out!First stop was Rite Aid. I paid for the scrunci's first and then bought one Philips item at a time using the one before to actually pay. I spend out of pocket $5 and ended with a $5 +up... making this all free!The older girls really wanted to experience Black Friday at Walmart. I couldn't bare to not provide them this learning opportunity. We learned about a whole lotta things at Walmart. For instance we learned to let the crazies just go ahead before they took us out and we learned to always check our receipt after we pay. The latter was not a fun lesson. I always do a rough calculation in my head as I'm shopping. My total was about $10 more than I thought it would be. When I examined the receipt there were 2 items that I was charged … [Read more...]

Feeling a bit chatty! {Walgreen’s trip}

Sometimes I just love Walgreen's. I love the people that work at my favorite store and I love the deals... this week was one of those days!I was happy to see that we got the $.75 coupon for the wipes on Sunday. It made for a great deal.Wipes $4.99-2 Walgreen's infant coupon from book-.75 wipes coupon from sunday's paperTotal $2.24 This is a total stock up price. Walgreen’s Fun… slight money maker… but stuff I needed!

Now that I have a pretty full stockpile, I'm really focusing on only buying stuff we can use or that I know is needed as a donation. For some reason nail clippers disappear like crazy in my house. I don't get it?!?! It's also rare that there are free woman's razors so I usually just use the men's ones... but if they are free, they are for me {how cheesy was that?} I still plan on going back and getting more at Wags this week.. especially the teething gel. My 18 month old is teething like crazy and just plain miserable. My older 2 teethed so well.... I never knew teeth were coming till they were here! I won $350! And A Walgreen’s Shopping Trip!

Gosh guys, I'm behind again. Hate it!... I've been out having fun though. I've been shopping {a lot}, and we are moving our business to a larger office this weekend so I've been packing and cleaning. Exciting stuff!We decided to take a break and we had dinner with my parents at Harrah's Rincon Casino. The Buffet actually. It's great because there is something for everyone to eat. After we were done eating my mom and I snuck off to the slot machines. I don't know about you, but ever since I started hardcore couponing I can't throw away money gambling. I know how far I can stretch $20 so throwing it into a slot machine isn't fun. Tonight I decided to put $20 in a machine anyways, and than I put another $10 in because I "felt like it" and pow, I won $350! I cashed out. Can you even imagine how much I could stretch that at Rite Aid??? Fun I tell you!So back to the couponing. I've made a bunch of trips to Rite Aid. I love Rite Aid this week... I have that post to finish up on that and a … [Read more...]
