Free Always Makes Me Happy! Especially if it’s free groceries!

IMG_7696-1

Sometime I get wind of a deal at the last second. Today was one of those days. On a whim I decided to look through the ads from the grocery stores before I headed out to run some errands. I had purposely not looked at the ads knowing that we had a fully stocked fridge and freezer. I had planned to work through that food till I went and did our grocery shopping later in the week after the sales had changed to next weeks ads. Around these parts the sales change on Wednesday so it seemed silly to even look. But and there is always a but with me {sometimes there's even a butt} I was cleaning off my desk and saw an ad that was in the Sunday paper. It took me about 5 seconds, maybe less, to see that Albertson's was doing a buy $100 in gift cards get $20 in free groceries promo again. I had just about given up hope that they would do it this year like they did last year. I'm just happy I got in on it today because today is the last day! I bought $200 in gift cards I needed for gift … [Read more...]

Here, There and Everywhere…

Hey Guys!I did a quick run around town today and I've got some good deals to share. First up some important business.In a couple hours I'll be moving over to Wordpress on my own web address. My new home will be www.fullpricenever.com ! Easy enough right? I'm sure excited, but also a bit nervous as I don't want to loose any of you as coupon friends! It should auto redirect you, but in case it doesn't you now know my new address... be sure to hop on over and say hi! I will most likely be down for a bit tonight when the change actually happens. I'll be hanging out on my facebook page during that time!Okay, on to the deals... Rite Aid-I bought the toothbrushes yesterday when there was an overlap of ads. They were free and I'll be sending in for a $2 rebate so I actually made money buying toothbrushes... and I'm such a money freak that I had to make sure to get the ones with the free toothpaste sample attached... every saving counts, right?Then there were the soft lips. They are $1.59 after … [Read more...]

It was a cold one!

For someone that didn't fight any crowds today at Black Friday, I sure am tired. When I started out shopping today I really didn't think I would get much seeing as though everyone else started hours or even a day before me. I think I still really made out!First stop was Rite Aid. I paid for the scrunci's first and then bought one Philips item at a time using the one before to actually pay. I spend out of pocket $5 and ended with a $5 +up... making this all free!The older girls really wanted to experience Black Friday at Walmart. I couldn't bare to not provide them this learning opportunity. We learned about a whole lotta things at Walmart. For instance we learned to let the crazies just go ahead before they took us out and we learned to always check our receipt after we pay. The latter was not a fun lesson. I always do a rough calculation in my head as I'm shopping. My total was about $10 more than I thought it would be. When I examined the receipt there were 2 items that I was charged … [Read more...]

Here, There and Everywhere! Almost free hair brushes!

That's how I feel. I'm here at my desk, but my mind is elsewhere! I don't even have a pretty picture to include! Anyone else feel this way?It all started with the weather. Really, I'm blaming the weather! It's been just about 100 degrees the last 2 days. What the heck, it's October. I'm too careful {read, cheap} to turn the AC on so sleep hasn't been great.I haven't had time to enter many giveaways, but I have a super duper HUGE giveaway scheduled for November here on Full Price? Never! And I've chosen November as my "follow along as I enter giveaways month". I think it will be really fun and I can't wait for you all to join in!The deals here in SoCal haven't been on fire the past couple weeks, but what deals we have had have been good ones!Here's a quick deal at Rite Aid this week. Shopping Trip Dump {#2} I {heart} FREE!

I started the morning at CVS. I had my $13 quarterly extra care bucks {thanks to my sisters love of CVS and using my card, thanks Sis! Please don't stop :-)} and a $5 beauty rewards {yep, from Sis again}I paid $.15 for it all. The ecb's covered the cvr we have here in CA.I wanted to mention the water. I am a water snob. I love Arrowhead and that's really all I will drink. Arrowhead doesn't have any funky after taste that some others do. Pictured here is the basic water {that's really the name}. It's on sale for $2.22 for a case of 24, limit 4. I tried it last night and it wasn't bad. There is a slight chlorine taste, but if it's cold enough I could probably drink it. I normally drink my water at room temperature {just saying}. This is from last weeks Albertson's ad. Tea $2 - .75 - .75 {doubler}= .50soup 4 @ $1= $4 - 1/4- 1 {doubler}= $2 or .50 each. Remember all the free soup I got from Rite Aid at the beginning of the year, well we are running low and now my oldest and husband are … [Read more...]

Rite Aid & Stater Bros {rolling, rolling, rolling, keep those +up’s rolling!}

First up, Right Aid!I hate {strong word, I know} the computers at this particular store, but I {heart} the employees big time!So I have all of my coupons scanned and than a $2 +up... but it says I need .46 more to use it even though my subtotal was over $2. The adorable assistant manager said "not a word from you" "pay your .83 and don't question the all mighty machine"... this was just as I was just about to open my mouth and say "I have to owe more"...Here's the trip.4 noxema razors @ $2 = $81 Sally Hanson crackle nail polish $5.591 Softdoap $2.992 cowtails @ $.26= $.52Total $17.10Tax $.73Total $17.83Coupons used3/152 sally hanson ra q3 sally hanson crackle q(4) 2 noxema1 soft soap mq from walgreens summer book=.83 and I got a $2 +up from the softsoapNow on to Stater Bros.
