This was definitely not a work day! {Awesome toy deal}

I had great intentions of getting a bunch of stuff done at work today. None of it actually happened. I was just not feeling it today and it worked out great that my husband was out of the office at appointment's for most of the morning so I took that as a "get out of jail free card". I went shopping!My favorite "buy" of the day... these Leap Frog Tag Junior. They are normally $30, on sale at Target for $14.99 AND there is a $10 coupon in the toy catalog. {My store had a bunch of the coupons in the toy section. }... so after all was said and done I paid $4.99 for each one! But it get's better. The books that go with these readers are also on sale. They are 50% off at $5.99. My store was plum out, but I remember seeing some before that had coupons on them. If I remember correctly they were $2 coupons making the books just $3.99! I was able to get a bunch of rainchecks! I have a few little ones that would love to get these for Christmas so I will be buying a couple books to … [Read more...]

Quick Ralph’s Heads Up!

Yesterday we had an epic {total exaggeration} shopping day. We hit a few of our favorite spots. One of which was Ralph's. I've been hearing reports that Ralph's is no longer doubling more than one like coupon {they've been doubling unlimited here}. I ventured to the most coupon friendly one around and made a go at it.The soft packs of wipes where on sale for $1.49 after the Cars buy 5 get $5 off. I bought 10 and used 10 $.50 coupons. Only 1 doubled {insert disappointed face}.I know some stores are still doing unlimited doubling, just not mine. If they had these would have been $.49 each. I'm still okay with $.99 and the best news is that I won't ever have to buy anymore wipes. These should last us through potty training!Does anyone else love using baby wipes for hands and such when you are out and about? I might keep buying them for a few years... till the baby is 3 or so because I love them that much for other things.The trip wasn't a total bust though. They have a sale through … [Read more...]

Worth Reading Wednesday: Ralphs update edition

Okay, so that's not news worthy... but these tidbits might be:Ralph's Rewards should be in you rmailbox soon, maybe even today. The cashiers said they hadn't seen any yet and that they normally do by the 4th or 5th.I'm just as excited about the coupons that they include as I am about the actual reward.I'm getting $8 back which would mean that I spent $800. But I didn't even spend $20. I love mega sales and double coupons.I used 2 "like" coupons and both doubled.There are some good deals this week. Check them out at Daily Coupon Adventure.Anything catch your eye? … [Read more...]

Maybe a Ralph’s Mega Event???

The blogs are a buzzing with Kroger and Fry's Mega events starting Wednesday so I popped into Ralph's today and I asked the cashier if there was a chance that we were getting a Mega event starting on Wednesday.I want to be able to tell you yes, no or maybe, but all I got was "I'm not sure".Uh, okay. {This is where I wish I lived closer to Ralph's and got the ad in the mail early}.So this is all me dreaming out loud, or shall I say on the computer, but if we are going to get a mega sale, and the prices are similar to Krogers, than there are quite a few things that will be cheap/free or even a money maker {honest tea!}Another *note*- it's reported that Ralph's stores are still doubling more than 1 like coupon and up to 3 or even 4!Have you all heard anything?
