First up, Right Aid!I hate {strong word, I know} the computers at this particular store, but I {heart} the employees big time!So I have all of my coupons scanned and than a $2 +up... but it says I need .46 more to use it even though my subtotal was over $2. I grabbed 2 Cow tails... and my total including tax dropped to .83 and the +up didn't come off???No idea how this happened. I still have a bunch of +Up's to use {think over $100, down from a lot more} and I decided to spend them on stuff we want. Not stuff we need, not stuff that will make money, just good 'ole stuff we want. I have some new goals to stock up on emergency items again {bottled water}. Every year I re-evaluate what I have and add too it. I also want to enjoy what deals I get and I think my family deserves some favorites too. I won't lie to you all. I was all about the toilet paper. Who doesn't love a free necessity. It was fun while it lasted and although I would have liked to have gotten more {who doesn't want more when something is free?} I'm okay that there is a limit now {1 per card}. I take couponing with a grain of salt. The baby's birthday is this week. I ran into Target yesterday and the toys were 30-50% off. I bought a couple of things (nothing to blog about, that's for sure)... They are on sale already for buy one get one free so I got all 4 for free, plus I earned $1 +up for each box I bought. The rest of the transactions involved using +UP's to pay and than I just kept it rolling from there!The craft items were buy 2 get a $5 +Up. These ranged in price from $1.19 to $2.39 {money makers}The 2 candy's were fillers so I could use another +Up to keep my out of pocket low.The Barilla pasta was free. They are priced at $1.25 and you get a $1 +up for every one you buy, plus get an extra $1 +up when you buy 4!
