Being Queen Of The Cats

I often joke that I am “Queen Of The Cats” in our home. It all started innocently enough…when Pete and I met and I had two cats. My older cat had been my buddy since I was 10 and the little guy “found” me in college. There were countless others that came into my life temporarily over the years on their way to their permanent families, and it is obvious to everyone that I possess an unseen power to attract cats. I’m totally okay with that.

When Maddie and Ashley were older, they started showing signs of the same talent if you will. They too are cat whisperers or “Queens Of The Cats.” They have perfected the call and cats all flock to them. It wasn’t surprising that Emmy too had this magical quality, and it didn’t take long for them each to want their own cat. We happily added to our family with these three crazy cats over the years for each of the girls, but at the end of the day, at least two of them still sneak onto my bed and cuddle up next to me. I’m totally okay with that too because they are such great friends to the girls and to me.

spending time with our cats

We think of these three cats as family members, so we take their care very seriously. We give them a lot of attention (on their terms of course…they are cats after all) and we make sure they have treats too.

Special attention is given to make sure that these treats pull double duty if they can. From enrichment activities, like hiding the treat for them to find to teaching them tricks to get these treats, we go all out when it comes to our furry friends!

Beyond that, we put special care into the treats themselves. Their favorite treat right now is Meow Mix Brushing Bites that I bought today at Walmart.

They love the taste and we love that the new Meow Mix Brushing Bites are a tasty treat that helps us care for our cats’ teeth! They are bursting with tasty flavors our cats loved.

why cats are good pets

Since I know that 85% of cats show signs of oral disease by 3 years of age, Meow Mix Brushing Bites are the perfect crunchy treat that helps keep my cats’ teeth clean when I feed them daily.

I take dental health seriously with my kids, so it only makes sense that I care just as much about my pets’ dental health too. It makes me happy to give my cats Meow Mix Brushing Bites because they are fortified with Vitamin D and Calcium to help support strong teeth and bones. They are made with real meat or fish and these tasty treats help control plaque and tartar for better teeth care by just giving them a treat!
