Happy Halloween! Must read!

I love Halloween. I love everything about it. I know I've told you all before, but pumpkins and sunflowers make me smile. This year we went to 4 pumpkin patches and then we went to 2 of them multiple times. Yes, we are THAT family! Don't you just love picking a pumpkin from the patch, like right from the ground it grew in?Some beauties I rounded up. The fairy tale one is my favorite... followed by the white one. Seriously, can't you see Cinderella stepping out of it {if it had wheels and all}/This one caught my eye, big time. The color is almost gross, like in makes me feel all creepy. That's why I loved it!*MUST READ* Last year we hit the mother load at Walmart when they marked everything 90% off. Check out our haul here. Starting tomorrow I will be stopping and checking for clearance finds. It seems from last year that the best markdowns were a full week from Halloween... but have you noticed all of the Christmas stuff already being moved out onto the floor? That means that they will … [Read more...]

{Staples} Got my free batteries. Did you?

This is what I bought...This is what I got with the reward for what I bought!I could totally leave this post as a simple tribute to my purchase of batteries, but come on that would be boring right? So, I will add this equally boring {according to my husband}, yet somehow inspiring song for you to enjoy today. I just love this song. I know I'm strange, but I do...Now back to my purchase of batteries. I really don't need more batteries right now. There I said it. But, and there is a big but {not to be confused with a big butt}, I have to buy supplies for the office anyways so I buy whatever is free after reward and then I use the rewards to buy what I need. You just have to remember to never pay with something that will earn a reward, with a reward. Here are the details:2 batteries @ $10= $20Get back $20 in rewards the next month. Score! … [Read more...]

I did one on my card and my friend did one on her card.Since we are talking about Halloween candy I immediately thought of this song. Not sure why, other than it's a bit freakish, but I did. A couple questions.1. Does the singer totally NOT match? His voice and appearance that is?2. What ever happened to Crash Test Dummies?3. Have you ever REALLY listened to the words of this song? Yikes!Bye, have a good day! … [Read more...]

Shopping Trip Dump {#2} I {heart} FREE!

I started the morning at CVS. I had my $13 quarterly extra care bucks {thanks to my sisters love of CVS and using my card, thanks Sis! Please don't stop :-)} and a $5 beauty rewards {yep, from Sis again}I paid $.15 for it all. The ecb's covered the cvr we have here in CA.I wanted to mention the water. I am a water snob. I love Arrowhead and that's really all I will drink. Arrowhead doesn't have any funky after taste that some others do. Pictured here is the basic water {that's really the name}. It's on sale for $2.22 for a case of 24, limit 4. I tried it last night and it wasn't bad. There is a slight chlorine taste, but if it's cold enough I could probably drink it. I normally drink my water at room temperature {just saying}. This is from last weeks Albertson's ad. Tea $2 - .75 - .75 {doubler}= .50soup 4 @ $1= $4 - 1/4- 1 {doubler}= $2 or .50 each. Remember all the free soup I got from Rite Aid at the beginning of the year, well we are running low and now my oldest and husband are … [Read more...]

Best Deal Ever On K-Cups! {Office Depot}

I know I'm not a deal posting site, more of a "this is how I save money, check out what I bought" kinda blog, but I had to share this with you all. All credit goes to SUCHaDEAL @ Slickdeals.Here is the really condensed version. All K-cup 18 packs that are priced at $11.99 are free after rewards. There are other things too, but I'm just going to talk about the coffee. The limit is 2 per day. BUT, in the past the limit is actually 2 per individual type or sku number. So... that means you could buy 2 of each per day and in January you can get a reward certificate for the whole amount to spend at Office Depot. There is no 100% guarantee that this is still going to work as it did before, but I feel pretty good that it will so I already ordered a bunch!I'll be having a $200 reward check coming back which is a lot to spend at Office Depot... but I buy a lot of stuff there for our business so it won't be hard to spend... for those that don't have as much of a need you could always use it to … [Read more...]
