I won $350! And A Walgreen’s Shopping Trip!

Gosh guys, I'm behind again. Hate it!... I've been out having fun though. I've been shopping {a lot}, and we are moving our business to a larger office this weekend so I've been packing and cleaning. Exciting stuff! We decided to take a break and we had dinner with my parents at Harrah's Rincon Casino. The Buffet actually. It's great because there is something for everyone to eat. After we were done eating my mom and I snuck off to the slot machines. I don't know about you, but ever since I started hardcore couponing I can't throw away money gambling. I know how far I can stretch $20 so throwing it into a slot machine isn't fun. Tonight I decided to put $20 in a machine anyways, and than I put another $10 in because I "felt like it" and pow, I won $350! I cashed out. Can you even imagine how much I could stretch that at Rite Aid??? Fun I tell you!So back to the couponing. I've made a bunch of trips to Rite Aid. I love Rite Aid this week... I have that post to finish up on that and a … [Read more...]

Maybe a Ralph’s Mega Event???

The blogs are a buzzing with Kroger and Fry's Mega events starting Wednesday so I popped into Ralph's today and I asked the cashier if there was a chance that we were getting a Mega event starting on Wednesday.I want to be able to tell you yes, no or maybe, but all I got was "I'm not sure".Uh, okay. {This is where I wish I lived closer to Ralph's and got the ad in the mail early}.So this is all me dreaming out loud, or shall I say on the computer, but if we are going to get a mega sale, and the prices are similar to Krogers, than there are quite a few things that will be cheap/free or even a money maker {honest tea!}Another *note*- it's reported that Ralph's stores are still doubling more than 1 like coupon and up to 3 or even 4!Have you all heard anything? Anyone seen an early ad? … [Read more...]

Soup, it’s what’s for dinner! Rite Aid Money Maker!

Friday and Saturday were big work days... but they were the type were we were mostly driving all around town, not the sit at your desk all day ones {thank goodness, because it was beautiful outside} so that means I stopped at {every} Rite Aid and did some {a lot of} shopping! The registers were really wonky {remember my new favorite word} so my totals never reflected the correct amount until hours later. Saturday was the best because it was the last day for the resolution rewards and the start of the Winter Reward. My last trip into Rite Aid was around 8:00pm saturday night after we left a birthday party. I was very happy {or maybe relieved that it was over?} when out popped the +up's for the soup and then 2 beautiful $20 +Up's one for the winter reward and one for the resolution reward! All said and done I made $40 just buying the soup, and we really like this soup, plus... these will also go great in my homeless care packages! Okay, here goes... 76 Progresso soup's @ $1.50= $11412 … [Read more...]

I made $95 using Swagbucks! You can too!

I just hit my 6th month using Swagbucks. I don't promote it all the time or do reminders about mega swagbucks day {today} because I often forget. That's what I love about Swagbucks. I don't have to remember anything. I just use Swagbucks to search the internet like I used to do with Google before... and I earn Amazon Gift Cards. So why am I bringing this up then? Because I got 2 emails about Swagbucks just yesterday. I think New Years Resolutions are still being followed {hehe} and people are getting smart about their time and figure if I have to search anyways I should get paid for it!Here's the answer to both email questions! Yes, it works and yes you really do earn Amazon Gift Cards {if you want, or you can even earn money via Pay Pal, your choice}!If you haven't signed up yet, take a moment and give it a try. I've included my referral link for you to sign up under Full Price? Never! HERE.How much have you made? … [Read more...]

First Donation Trip! Donation Trip! Read all about it! $200

I've had a really hard time with my donation goal. I really thought it would be the easiest and most full filling part of my challenge but it's really been the hardest part, go figure!Someone very close to my heart was effected by homelessness and it's changed my whole view about those who are or have been homeless. With this in the back of my mind I was shocked when I was researching places to take my donations too. Many of them do not allow those without a home to receive their items. I was shocked to say the least. The number one reason was that these people would not be able to cook the items provided.Huh? Why not give them stuff that does not need to be cooked, like the hormel? Homeless people are normally creative enough to be able to heat something up, or have friends places they can prepare food... or just give them personal care items?I was really discouraged to say the least. I also was driving around with a full trunk and I needed to unload it.I eventually found a really nice … [Read more...]
